Eat & Play with Marbleous Table

Netherland designer Tineke Beunders of Ontwerpduo created a table called Marbelous. From the pictures and the title, it’s easy to understand that this table makes use of marbles. I’m unaware of the pricetag on Marbelous, but I’m sure it isn’t cheap.

As a kid, I had self-constructed plastic marble mazes built from time to time, but playing with marbles at the dinnertable was an impossibility until now.

From Ontwerpudo:

From my childhood I remember it was always exiting to combine these two. I used the woodcarvings of furniture as a playfield for my puppets, to play in a new world.

Functional woodcarvings and decoration you can play with. Applying woodcarvings in a piece of furniture that combines the world of adults with the world of the children.
